Not even the dragons managed to escape the fallout from the volcanic eruption in Iceland. Duncan Bannatyne had to resort to a chauffeur-driven car from the south of France to Calais followed by a ferry to Dover to get him back from his family holiday and Peter Jones was forced to spend a few extra days in the Bahamas before flights resumed (that must have been hard!).
As a result of the disruption, the start of filming for the new series of Dragons' Den didn't kick off on Friday as planned. However with all the dragons back in the country, the cameras rolled again on everyone's favourite business reality show this morning. But for at least two of the participants shared stories of Easter holidays weren't the order of day; in fact stories of no sort were mentioned as it appears that the feud between Bannatyne and James Caan is still be very much in existence.
The row started last month after Bannatyne wrote an angry newspaper article criticising non-doms and specifically James Caan. The rift got even worse when Caan said: "I've got no beef with any Dragon, so long ... as they don't have a criminal record"; a clear reference to the Scottish entrepreneur's six months in a military detention centre.
It was claimed on Friday that Caan wants to "draw a line under the whole affair" but that doesn't seem to be the case if some of today's Twitter updates from Bannatyne are anything to go by:

Admittedly it's only day one of filming but I think it'll be well worth watching the new Dragons' Den series as it sounds like you could have cut the atmosphere with a knife!
But it's not all change in the den. One thing hasn't changed; Peter Jones' crazy socks!
