To eTrade or not to trade, that is the question

The latest annual eCommerce survey for Actinic, a provider of eCommerce and shopping cart solutions, highlighted that profitability amongst SME online traders was at an all time high. Some 90% of the sample reported that their sites were profitable. This is great news.

However the survey also highlighted the proportion of companies with full eCommerce sites was only 11% and that three quarters of retailers who accept mail and telephone orders don't have an eCommerce facility. This is not such great news.

So, "To eTrade or not to trade" is clearly the question for many of you. Why?
