Finding and registering with directories

Registering with an online directory is a cheap and effective way to promote your business. The National B2B Centre provides guidance on how to pick the right directory for your business.

Which directories to register with?

Some questions you may consider when deciding whether to register for a directory. If you answer NO to any of the questions below, registering with the directory may not be worthwhile

  • Is the directory relevant to your business?
  • Is the directory regularly updated?
  • Is the directory attracting advertisers?
  • Does the directory look professional?
  • Are the categories within the directory well populated?
  • Is it easy to navigate the directory and find information?
