Nominations for the 2007 Software Satisfaction Awards organised by BusinessZone's parent company Sift Media have highlighted more than 50 companies who are successfully catering for their users' needs. The winners and full analysis of the contenders in the 19 product categories will be announced at the awards ceremony in London on 9 October.
This survey of the finance and accounting categories presents an assessment of the runners, highlights some of those who may have just missed out on placings and looks for evidence of emerging industry trends.
Small business accounting software
This category attracted responses from more than half of those surveyed, but presented few surprises. Last year's awards in this category were split between QuickBooks, MYOB, Sage and Mamut.
