SME nominees take on the giants in Software Satisfaction Awards 2008

Specialist small business developers have been nominated alongside some of the IT industry's giants in the Software Satisfaction Awards 2008. Technology editor John Stokdyk reports.


Organised by Sift Media, the company behind BusinessZone.co.uk, UK Business Forums, AccountingWEB.co.uk and other professional web communities, the Software Satisfaction Awards are designed to highlight those developers who go the extra mile to keep their customers happy.

The biggest single category, small business accounts, attracted more than 1,800 respondents, who voted in sizeable battalions for Sage, QuickBooks and MYOB. But also in the running for the small business category is KashFlow, the winner of last year's prize for web-hosted accounts systems.
