Challenge
A real issue arose at the management meeting regarding managing expenditure and reporting on profitability over the coming months. The team were concerned they weren't converting enough sales and the operations department had too high costs and they couldn't see how to get more revenues in a gloomy financial market.
Our approach
We sat down with the management team and owner and looked at what they had tried before in terms of cost cutting and revenue generation. There were some good ideas and some failures but the real problem was there was no measurement on the success of any ideas implemented.
