A good place to start is by using the simplest and perhaps most humblest of today's business communication tools to reduce travel and associated costs whilst at the same time significantly increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of organisations. We are talking about the telephone and using audio conferencing to slice huge chunks off your businesses running costs.
