Businesses give 'cautious welcome' to Britain's new prime minister
Small business lobby groups have welcomed the appointment of David Cameron as prime minister but urged the Tory leader to start work immediately on creating a stable government and economic recovery.
The Forum of Private Business (FPB) said small businesses owners will welcome the announcement following days of political wrangling. Cameron was finally appointed prime minister after coalition talks between the Labour and Liberal Democrat parties broke down and Gordon Brown quit. A power sharing deal between the Conservatives and Liberal Democrats has been agreed.
