The chancellor will unveil the government's emergency Budget on Tuesday 22 June, the Treasury has confirmed.
George Osborne revealed the date during his first Treasury press conference since being appointed the UK's new chancellor last week. He also confirmed another Conservative manifesto commitment to create an Office for Budget Responsibility (OBR).
