Entrepreneurs protest at private club's 'membership cull'

Business owners have reacted angrily to the alleged axing of members from a private club in London for spending too much time using its facilities.

According a report by the Independent, investors in One Alfred Place are unhappy with the way the business is being run so founder Rob Sheeve has been replaced as chief executive by Sharon Brittan, co-founder of serviced office group Britannia Row. Among Brittan's first actions, the newspaper said, is "axing club members she doesn't rate".
