David Cameron: A Budget in 50 days if we win the election

David Cameron has pledged that the 2010 Budget will take place 50 days after a Conservative Party victory at the next general election. In an interview with the BBC's Andrew Marr, the Tory leader said the main rate of corporation tax would be immediately reduced to 25%. The small company rate is also likely to be cut to 20%.
