UK online workspace start-up secures $10m funding
British start-up business Huddle, which creates workspaces for individuals to connect online, has raised $10.2m in equity investment.
The company secured the Series B round of funding through Matrix Partners with participation from existing investors Eden Ventures and Charles McGregor, Huddle's chairman. It has now raised in excess of $15m since its launch in 2007. The latest capital will be used to expand Huddle's US presence. Co-founder Andy McLoughlin recently re-located to San Francisco.
