Crunch: Biting through 'traditional' SaaS accounting solutions

‘Ridiculously easy accounting.’ So says the tagline of Cloud Computing newcomer, Crunch, which aims to offer a fresh take on SaaS (software-as-a-service) accounting solutions for freelancers and small and medium sized businesses with £25,000 plus turnover. Insurgent and bullish, the company’s website accuses ‘average high street accountants’ of over-pricing, something that will get many sitting up and taking notice. Of course, Crunch isn’t the first SaaS outfit peddling an accountancy solution, so what makes it so special? BusinessZone.co.uk caught up with one of the Crunch founders, Darren Fell.
