Sat at a table in the Blue Room at the Covent Garden Hotel in London, are representatives of small businesses from across the country – and to describe the half dozen companies as diverse doesn’t come close. One is tailor; another is a developer of gym equipment; yet another is a digital media specialist...and so it goes on.
Joined by Tony Speakman, regional manager for database software house FileMaker, Intellect's SME representative Lynn Robinson, and former Wired UK managing editor, Sean Geer, what brings them together are their thoughts on how SMEs can improve their IT systems – even during a recession – and how they’ve approached the solution.
So is a solid IT system the solution to solving a company’s problems in the recession?
