Asus Eee PC range helped launch the current explosion of mini-notebooks/netbooks two years ago. Since then, the Taiwanese firm has continued to expand its offerings, with touch-screen and even bamboo-cased notebooks now forming a part of its product range. It’s even secured a partnership with supercar manufacturer, Lamborghini, which explains why Asus recently held an event at the Lambo showroom in London. It was there that Asus unveiled new models for its ‘U’ family of notebooks, alongside recently launched products (like the Seashell 1008HA) and others due before the end of the year. The drive forward comes as processing giant Intel, pushes its Ultra-Low Voltage ‘CULV’ chips, which sit at the heart of new U-series machines.
