I'm a big fan of Rob Law and his Trunki brand of ride-on suitcases.
Like many UK entrepreneurs, Law opted for manufacturing his products in Asia due to lower costs. However, the entrepreneur is a passionate believer in British manufacturing so after a couple of years of hard graft and with limited help from the government, Trunki returned home earlier this month with the first British made product rolling off the production line in a factory in Totnes in Devon.
The team at Trunki have kindly given me first look at this exclusive footage filmed on the first day of UK production. Fittingly, the case is a special one for the London 2012 Olympics. Let's hope Trunki's move back to the UK inspires more British brands to do the same.
